Location Scouting

 

The Location of my magazine will take place at Barberxlife barbershop, the inside of this barbershop is surrounded by LED lights, art work, black walls LED lights bounce off which give the barbershop a very much elegant and modern look. The modern look is what I would like for my location since my magazine will be oriented on modern hairstyles that are up to date. My connection to the barbershop owner will allow me to come in whenever on a weekend to take as many pictures for as long as I would like. Enabling me to take as many pictures and cut hair for as long as I can depending on the day and time for my models.

As you can see in the image above, this is an idea of how images would come out in the barbershop when getting a haircut. The prime purpose of the magazine isn't to promote the barbershop, I'm using the area to photoshoot and cut hair, which my connections to the owner to allow me to do this freely. 

The image above is exactly what i would like in my magazine. The haircut is visible while the background is blurred out, giving the haircut the opportunity to pop out. Because of this, when looking at the haircut you're able to see that this barbershop has black chairs, white capes, and from the previous picture it has art work that is black and white. The inside of the barbershop isn't what draws the attention, it's the haircut that absorbs the attention, hence is what I would like to have in my magazine. 

The barbershop contains a simplistic look, thus why all pictures come out nicely. The barbershop is oriented on simplicity but not when it comes to haircuts. Simplicity with the black and wooden stations, black chairs, black walls, light brown back walls, black floors, overall very simple making all pictures and photography effective.
