Table of Contents

    I'm now working on the table of contents page for my magazine. A magazine's table of contents page is critical to its appeal to my audience and how readers will interpret the publication. The page will guide the reader through the magazine, explaining what each page will be about and what will be contained on it. It should be designed in a simple but appealing manner, with clear information. 

Since I am making a hair magazine that is directed towards men, I will include topics that relate with styles, hair care, different types of hair and products. Mostly all of my product and model pictures will be taken at the barber shop, using professional lighting. I will have the pages title say "contents" in bold gold font, with "switchinstyles" above it. The below magazine, Elle, is a great inspiration on how i want my table of contents to look like.

You can get creative with designing the page, which is why I will include a gold title and headings with white descriptions of the page underneath. The background color of the page will be black and i will make the title a light grey color to not take away from the sub headings. Im not sure if I want the subheadings to be in the shade region of golds, grays or whites. I will see when I start to design it what looks best. The white wording on a black background with gold accents will make the page look very classy and sleek. I will also add different fonts and sizes to my page to attract the reader and make them more engaged in my magazine.
